Redemption Bay is the new novel from New York Times bestselling author #RaeAnneThayne.

McKenzie Shaw would do anything for her beloved hometown of Haven Point. It may be small and struggling, but it’s never let her down, unlike gorgeous, infuriating Ben Kilpatrick.

He left Haven Point behind years ago, for good reason. Yet seeing the town through McKenzie’s eyes could change his mind.

If he can resolve the animosity crackling between them, Ben may have found the place where he can build ties and find healing, a place where love arrives when it is least expected.

I would love to live in Haven Point, a picturesque lake town surrounded by snow-topped mountains and kind, caring residents who are always there for each other. Who wouldn’t?

McKenzie, the sweet and very capable mayor of this sleepy place, happens to love it more than most. So much so, she is willing to put up with Ben Kilpatrick, the man responsible for destroying more than just the town’s economy.

Ben on the other hand, has his own demons to put to rest, and then leave, asap. The last thing he needed was some pretty, perky mayor forcing the virtues of Haven Point down his throat.

For McKenzie and Ben, this is a blessed second chance, and I enjoyed seeing their relationship change and grow.

If you like sweet love stories, speckled with cute puppies, giggling kids and lots of small town intrigue, Redemption Bay is the book for you.

Thank you @MillsandBoon for the invite to participate in this wonderful #Blogtour.

Homage to great writers – Louise L. Hay

For all of us book lovers, there are certain authors, who have influenced us through the years. Whether fiction or non-fiction, these books have helped transform our perceptions.

The first in this series of homages to great writers is to the incomparable Louise Hay, founder of Hay House, the publishing company. Very few authors transcend their writing and inspire us by their approach to life’s unpredictable ebb and flow. Louise Hay was one of them.

‘You Can Heal Your Life’ which she published in 1984, sold over 30 million copies world-wide. She went on to produce many other books until her passing in 2017.

Louise Hay’s positive affirmations and motivational teachings continue to support millions. If you haven’t already come across her works, they are highly recommended.
